Background: Altered tissue remodeling and collagen turnover in the tumor microenvironment can
affect drug delivery as well as T-cell infiltration and activity and hereby affect
response to immune checkpoint inhibitors. The aim of this study was to evaluate the
association between serum biomarkers of type III collagen formation and degradation
and outcome in metastatic melanoma patients treated with Ipilimumab (Ipi).
